Gone to the Dogs #17

  1. I've never heard that quote before but I've always believed something similar. No one can offend or make you mad without your consent either. I was the anti bully. Why would I care what some dorky mean kid had to say about me? Was he important? No, so his opinion is invalid!

  2. You hit the nail on the head. A bully's words never hurt, they were always idiots. It was the poundings that were killer.

  3. Being a girl, and clever at laughing my way out of everything, I didn't get many poundings.

  4. Sigh, I found myself thinking about this strip today. Bullies are some of the dumbest most unispired people out there. It's sad really. What kills me about it is that the ones at our school have the potential to be brilliant. But instead choose to act like complete and total jerks to the teachers, and find humor out of the dumbest things. I go to a private school, all these idiots are only in there because they play football (such is life i suppose). But you know what? I can see past the charade, i realize that most of them are going to have to learn life the hard way and realize that there's more to it than drinking and partying, and careing about what everyone else thinks about you. They'll most likely skimp there way through everything they ever do, and take the easy way out. Luckily i don't get in fights, I'm tougher than most of them anyway, besides even if i did get challenged to a fight, I'd probably not even show up.
I wish people would just spend their life doing what they feel the Lord has calked them to, and show respect to everyone. Few, cleard my head now,

    Nice strip overall
