This is a bit of a long shot, but did you know a 'Leonard L. Rogers' who I believe used to work at Filmation. I am trying to track down him or his family because he and my father were both in a Japanese POW camp in WW2.
I have a question: ¿is it true, that It was planned a Slappy and Skippy's own TV show?, I saw the "cuckoo" episode, but ¿what was the reason the show never made it?
Len Rogers indeed worked as an animator at Filmation. He passed away in 1978. I knew him there and he was a decent man who'd lived an amazing life. I think his son, Lindsay Rogers, may still live in the L.A. area.
Terry, Leonard Rogers was my great uncle. I'm sure we are talking about the same person. Email me chrisandtifd@gmail.com or chris_dailey@dataset-inc.com
Are you serious? Wow!
