Wow! The sibs sure know how to leave an impact and those Emmys are certainly something to brag about. Now, if only WB would wise up and bring the remaining episodes of "Animaniacs" and the movie "Wakko's Wish" to DVD. I know I'm putting this in my comments a lot, but I can hardly wait to complete the collection! I think it's about time, don't you?
I wasn't born until the late '90s, and unfortunately never got to see this show. If only my brother would've bought the volumes, I would be able to watch the episodes. For now, I rely on YouTube. By the way, I think the shows from the early '90s to the early 2000s were the best! They're better than what we have now...
That's awesome. I remember growing up watching the WB/Kids WB, when it was on Channel 11 in my area, to watch Animaniacs.
ReplyDeleteI remember when the WB practically the latest hip station for those who did have cable. Fun times. ;)

ReplyDeleteI agree!
ReplyDeleteFaboo!
ReplyDeleteTheir first Emmys were for children's programs....that doesn't seem to faze WB much. They sure weren't going to get one for "Nick Freno" or "Kirk."
ReplyDeleteFreakazoid's theme won an Emmy for music? Good. That song is awesome.
Thanks Peter.
ReplyDelete"He's here to save the nation
So stay tuned to this station
If not we'll be unemployed
Freakazoid, Freakazoid"
Wow, Nick Freno!
There's a blast from the past!
That's my favourite line from the theme song Tom and I too didn't know the theme won a (well deserved) Emmy.
ReplyDeleteWell done and thanks (from a long time fan/lurker, first time commenter)
So in 1996 animaniacs won their firt Emmy ¿right?
ReplyDeleteNo -- Animaniacs won multiple Emmy Awards in 1994 and 1995 as well as 1996.
ReplyDeleteGreat show. It's a shame that kids and young adults growing up aren't exposed to such entertaining shows.
